Appearance: Easily recognizable due to their long, black-and-white striped tail and black patches around their eyes

Habitat: Native to Madagascar and are found in the dry forests, spiny forests, and bush areas of southern and southwestern Madagascar. Spend most of their time in the trees but forage on the forest floor for food

Behavior: Active during daytime hours and are omnivorous, which means they eat a variety of fruits, flowers, leaves, insects, and small animals
